It’s an all out battle of magical beings in a race to save humanity. Along the way Stephanie becomes Skulduggery’s partner and learns some facts about her own heritage. Like the fact that she is a descendant of the Ancients and has the ability to learn magic herself. The interaction and affection that develops between these two is delightful, humorous and wonderful! A must read for all those who enjoy a little magic, mystery and adventure.

Lori Says: A wonderful new voice in children’s fantasy. Kendra and her brother Seth must spend two weeks with their Grandparents while their parents are on a cruise. What no one knows is that the estate is actually a sanctuary for fairies, imps and other wonderfully magical creatures, not all of whom are good. Seth, far too curious for his own good continually breaks the magic laws and treaties and causes catastrophes that lead to the freeing of a demon, a witch, and the possible destruction of Fablehaven. Only Kendra, immune to all magical retribution, because she has not broken any of their laws, can save the sanctuary. I am looking forward to reading the next two novels in this series. Absolutely fantastic story. Read it with your children or on your own!

Ashley says:  Well Percy Jackson is a troubled kid, he has been kicked out of boarding school…again. He gets picked up by his mom and they head to the beach. On the way they are attacked by a monster that came out of Greek Mythology textbook. He has to go to Camp Half-Blood. Playing capture the flag is a lot different when he gets attacked by bloodhounds then is given a quest to get Zeus’ lightning bolt back, but he meets a few gods along the way. A great adventure!
