Rana says:  This is one of my favorite Science Fiction Novels of all time!!! It is about Valentine Michael Smith, a man who was born on Mars and raised by Martians. Valentine’s upbringing gives him a different perspective on religion, politics, human behavior, and death. He creates a “Religion” based on the Martian belief system, where people learn the Martian Language, “Share Water”, and Grok. An excellent book about the Human Spirit.

Rana says:  If you love fantasy, this is a great book! I was drawn by the view of Housing Construction as Destruction of Nature’s Wildlife Housing. In this instance, a family of five unwittingly finds itself in the middle of a war with Elves, Trolls, and Faeries, when the father commences building a new housing tract. The twists, turns and history in the story kept me entranced. I did not want to put the book down! I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
