Lori says:  This is a very unique paranormal novel about Lou, a supermodel who is plaqued with fur outbreaks and fangs, that seem to crop up at the most inapportune moments. Years ago, in a small Texas town, Lou(then known as Sherry), was nearly raped by the star of the football team. What saved her was that she turned into a werewolf and ripped him to shreds. Changing her name and fleeing to New York to live the live of glitz and glamour works just dandy until pretty women who bear a striking resemblance to Lou start turning up murdered. As if that isn't bad enough, Lou is having dreams about these murders and the murderer, and he just happens to be a werewolf too. It's kind of obvious right off the bat who the killer is, but it's worth reading on. While dealing with a murdering werewolf, and in hopes of finding out how she became one herself, she hires a very obnoxious investigator to track down her birth parents. The author is not as clear with the story line as she could have been, and leaves a bit to be desired by focusing more on Lou's lustful thoughts about nearly every man she encounters, then on the actual mystery itself. This is a good, light and humorous read. Enjoyable and not hard on the brain!

As a teenager she meets Cullen, the first boy who has not considered her a freak because of her gift. Their relationship continues and grows until she is barely in her twenties. Cullen is unable to forgive her for not warning him in time of his mother's impending murder. Years later we find Taige as an "agent" for a psychic government unit. She only takes the cases she chooses, and they are they ones she has visions of. Ghosts of the past are resurrected when the vision of a dark haired young girl that has plagued Taige all her life manifests itself in the kidnapping of Cullen's young daughter. Knowing that no one else can help him, Cullen turns to Taige, a woman he knows he badly hurt and misused in the past, to find his daughter. Against her will and better judgment, Taige is pulled into a relationship with him again. When the bodies of hundreds of young girls are uncovered, will their fragile new love stand a chance even if Taige saves his daughter? For the identity of this murderer will hit to close to home for Taige.

Unfortunately Callie is in for a rude awakening when her father, sister and the entire board of Death Inc. are kidnapped. Callie must step in to prevent the devil’s protégé from taking over. This book is full of surprises, sharp wit and three tasks that Callie must achieve before she can become death. All the while trying to find her father and rescue him so that someday she might return to her “normal” life.   A wonderful, entertaining read!

Rana says:  This is a fun and exciting read. It is about Joanne Baldwin, a Weather Warden. She always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting in trouble. It does not help that all the other Wardens are after her for a murder she did not commit. This is a Sci-Fi Mystery that will keep you hanging to the end. I highly recommend the Weather Warden series!

Rana says: If you are into Vampire stories with humor, try Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. This is her first book in her Undead Series about Betsy, the accidental Vampire Queen. What is humorous about Betsy is she is totally into her looks, and she would rather go shoe shopping than anything else. She also gets nauseous at the sight of blood. (Not exactly good news for a Vampire.) Being the Vampire Queen, she can be in sunlight, wear a cross, and go to church. Unfortunately, since Betsy is a New Vampire, when the sun comes up, she falls asleep. So for a good laugh with a klutzy, Vampire shoe fiend, try Mary Janice Davidson’s Undead Series
